Killarney's Emerald Isle Tour

Visitors have been coming to Killarney for the past 270 years to experience the beauty and scenery of the area, the surrounding mountains and the famous Lakes of Killarney and are located in Ireland’s premier National Park which was established in 1953.

Killarney is home to Ireland’s largest herd of native red deer and the recently introduced Norwegian white-tailed sea eagles.  This tour can also include boat trips through the lakes, visits to islands such as Innisfallen Island with its early Christian Monastic site and an opportunity to experience one of the numerous hiking routes within the National Park.

Walk With Me will show you the old Killarney that visitors rarely see, including a few gems of times past but still surviving and thriving. We will include the places that have made Killarney a famous visitor’s destination, Muckross House and Gardens, Ladies View, Molls Gap, Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, St. Mary’s Cathedral and The Gap of Dunloe.

Upper Lake Killarney

The views of Killarney’s Lakes and Valley from Aghadoe are spectacular, set against the backdrop of The McGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range. The early Christian churches and monastic sites founded by St.Fionán ‘The Leper’ at Aghadoe and Innisfallen Island are places to visit during this tour.

We will visit the world renowned Kate Kearney’s Cottage and a traditional Irish Pub, The Beaufort Bar where Whiskey Tasting will be offered under the expert hand and tuition of its owner, Padraig O’Sullivan before returning to Killarney.
