Strickeen Mountain
The famous traverse of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks starts with a gentle climb of Strickeen mountain located at the entrance to the Gap of Dunloe. This is a fine half day hike with spectacular views of County Kerry.

Killarney Lakeshore, Arthur Young Walk and Boathouse Trail
This is a walk for beginners set in Killarney’s National Park. It meanders through the Muckross Estate offering fantastic views of the lakes and mountains that surround the Killarney valley. This guided walk is a fabulous introduction to the world famous Muckross Estate and Gardens.

Killarney Lakes & Gap of Dunloe Guided Walk and Boat Trip
This full day 21km boat trip and 10km guided walk reveals Killarney in all its glory and visits some hidden gems. Starting at the medieval Ross Castle, visits Innisfallen Island, Dinis Cottage, The Meeting of the Waters, The Eagle’s Nest, Lord Brandon’s Cottage and a spectacular walk through the Black Valley, the famous Gap of Dunloe, to your final destination at Kate Kearney’s Cottage.

Torc Mountain & Waterfall
This walk requires a moderate level of fitness. It starts at Torc Waterfall in the Muckross Estate, climbing the Waterfall Trail, on to the Old Kenmare Road, continuing to the summit off Torc Mountain and returning at a leisurely pace to the Torc Waterfall carpark.

Bolus Head
Bolus Head in the very South West of Ireland and overlooking The Skellig Islands is one of Kerry’s finest half-day walks. From the trailhead in Ducalla you follow a mountain track and greenway to the ruins of a Second World War look-out post at a height of 280 meters with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. This walk requires a moderate level of fitness.

Carrauntoohil & MacGillicuddy Reeks
This walk requires a high level of fitness combined with hill walking experience plus suitable footwear and raingear. Carrauntoohil is Ireland’s highest peak at 3414 feet/1039 metres, and stands as a challenge to any hill walker. It offers spectacular views of County Kerry and a sense of achievement.

The Windy Gap
This is the “King of Walks” in a county that is steeped in folklore and affectionately known as The Kingdom. This loop walk starts in the picturesque Mid-Kerry village of Glenbeigh. Takes in the beautiful scenery of the Dingle Peninsula, the great beaches of Rossbeigh and Inch, the Caragh Valley, the MacGillycuddy Reeks and the broad Atlantic Ocean.

Tomies Wood Hiking Trail
This scenic walk must rate as the finest half-day walk in the County of Kerry. The views from this relatively easy walking trail are breathtaking.
The loop walk follows a green road that meanders through Tomies Wood. The trail crosses the South Bridge and returns by the North Bridge including a visit to O’Sullivan’s Cascade, a waterfall that is equally as spectacular as the famous Torc Waterfall in Muckross.
This is the real essence of Killarney and when you walk the Tomies trail, you have arrived at that most idyllic of places.

Mountain Stage Coach Road Hiking Trail
The Mountain Stage forms part of the Ring of Kerry touring route. In the hills overlooking the Mountain Stage there is an ancient green road that was, at one time, in the early 1800’s a coach road that history tells us was used by Daniel O’Connell, The Liberator, when he travelled from Dublin to his ancestral home at Derrynane in County Kerry.
This old green road overlooks the Dingle Peninsula and the Iveragh Peninsula with spectacular sea views along the Wild Atlantic Way. This trail offers one of the finest scenic hiking trails in Ireland.
