The 2017 Season for Walk With Me – Day Tours is already in full swing for the company and their many customers overseas and at home. We have already been out touring with visitors from the USA and Britain and far flung places such The Maldives and Signapore who choose to tour with Walk With Me over the Christmas holidays, the New Year and into January 2017.

The weather so far this year, here in the South West of Ireland, has been exceptionally good and ideal for touring and hiking. Ray and Mary have been with people touring The Ring of Kerry, The Dingle Peninsula and Cork in recent days, visiting Blarney Castle, Cobh and Kinsale. Our customised tours that take people to locations that are ‘off the beaten path’ have continued to be popular with our clients, visiting the hidden gems of Valentia Island, The Beara Peninsula, The Skellig Ring and Connemara , to name but a few.

The result of the recent Reader Traveller Awards for 2016/2017 Season published by The Independent Newspaper Weekend Magazine have placed The Cliffs of Moher in County Clare as the # 1 tourist attraction in Ireland, with The Ring of Kerry, The Dingle Peninsula, Killarney, Connemara and Kenmare all featuring in the top 10 attractions and destinations in Ireland.   Walk With Me Day Tours include all these popular destinations for clients who choose Ireland for their vacation.

Hiking and walking in Killarney National Park, throughout County Kerry and in Counties Clare and Cork are available as part of our guided walks schedule and itineraries for 2017. We will also continue our association with Killarney Walking Festival guiding ramblers and hikers attending the Killarney Walking Festival from June 9th – 11th 2017. Our guided boat trip with the local Killarney boatmen through The Lakes of Killarney returning through The Gap of Dunloe has remained an extremely popular Day Tour for us.

An important part of our business during 2016 was the success of our day trips from Killarney to Skellig Michael following its international exposure in the recent Star Wars movies. Mary and Ray had visitors from Brazil, China, and the USA amongst others to experience the wonders of The Skellig Rocks. We will again be working closely with the licensed boat operators in Portmagee to ensure that our valued customers can have a similar experience during 2017. This has been a real success story for Walk With Me providing guided tours to one of the most unique and spectacular locations worldwide.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Ireland in2017 and touring with us at Walk With Me – Day Tours
