Ray and Mary at Walk With Me Day Tours have acquired a luxury Mercedes Benz E Class car to provide customized sightseeing tours for their customers for the 2017 season. We will also be extending our Airport Transfer service for travelers arriving in Ireland on vacation. Our new car is licensed and insured as a Small Public Service Vehicle to carry 4 passengers in its luxurious interior visiting all the iconic and classic touring routes and attractions throughout Ireland.
Ray & Mary have quite a number of tours already booked for the season taking people to great locations such as The Cliffs of Moher, Connemara in County Galway, The Beara Peninsula in West Cork and some of the many ‘off the beaten path’ trips that they take their clients on a regular basis to locations such as The Skellig Ring, Valentia Island, The Mizen Head, The Gap of Dunloe, The Black Valley and Garnish Island.
The standout attraction from last year’s season were our day trips to Skellig Michael and this continues to be very popular for 2017 with quite a lot of enquiries and bookings so far. We will also be providing a new tour this year that involves a motor boat tour around one of the most iconic and less well known islands – The Puffin Island situated off the South West coast of Ireland.
We will be combining this tour with a visit to The Kerry Cliffs near Portmagee which are fast becoming a ‘must’ for visitors that are similar to The Cliffs of Moher and offer spectacular views of both Skellig islands. The Kerry Cliffs are as near as you are going to be to The Skelligs when viewing them from the mainland. The Kerry Cliffs are also hugely popular by visitors wishing to view the fabulous sunset panorama off the South Kerry coast. This area of South Kerry is also attracting great interest due to its designation as a ‘Dark Sky Reserve’ .
Walk With Me have also joined with Kerry Coastal Cottages and Ferienhaus-Irland in marketing and managing our vacation and holiday home property – ‘An Tiaracht’ which is located on Valentia Island and have quite a number of bookings for the coming season. ‘An Tiaracht’ is a four bedroomed modern home located in a most beautiful part of Ireland on Valentia Island and close to all the sights, attractions and touring routes in the area.
